Melissa Pallini (b. 1993) is an Italian-Canadian photo retoucher, graphic designer, and fine art printer based between Rome and Barcelona.
Since 2016 she has been collaborating with Claudio Palmisano’s Mandrione8 studio, where she works with the biggest international magazines and award-winning authors in the photojournalism field. Between 2018 and 2020 she taught post-production at Istituto Superiore di Fotografia (ISFCI) in Rome. In the same period initiates her collaboration with the independent publishing house Skinnerboox. In 2022 she became the new creative designer at Fantini Wines and co-founded Ask Again Studio with Martina Zanin – a design and creative direction studio with a focus on editorial projects. Her activity as a freelancer is directed to the development of books, post-production, and brand identity projects. The characteristics of her approach are the great attention to materials, the interaction with the user, and the sensory aspect of the book object. She believes in the importance of contamination between different disciplines.
